Ingredients

1 cup Whole Green Moong Dal
1/4 cup Rice
3 garlic pods
1-2 tsp cumin seeds
1-2 tsp whole black pepper
1/2 cup chopped onions
Few dry chilles - optional
Shredded coconut - optional
Small piece ginger - optional
2  chillies chopped - optional
Salt

Method

Soak the dal, rice, garlic black pepper, cumin, ginger overnight. Grind it in the morning with salt, shredded coconut,red chillies,ginger -optional, to dosa batter consistency. Let it stay for 1/2 hour. Meanwhile sautee onions, chillies and when ready to make the dosas mix it with the batter. Heat a well seasoned / nonstick skillet, pour a ladle of the batter and make dosas or crepes, adding oil. Flip cook on both sides and enjoy hot.
