In an electric cooker pan add 1 cup bulgur wheat,a little more than 1/4 cup yellow moong dal,3 1/4 cups water(adjust as per preference) and cook the contents.Halfway into the cooking process add the seasonings and stir well and cook till done.This pongal goes very well with hot chutney.
