Murukkus with Besan Flour

Pin It Now!
Make a dough by mixing 2 cups rice flour, 1 cup besan(gram flour), 1/2 tsp cayenne powder, Salt, drained ajwain water, 3 tbsp oil.  Heat a generous amount of oil in a deep pan, fill the cookie press with the dough and press it going in circles so the mix falls into oil.  Flip and cook on both sides.  When the bubbles in the oil subside that means the murrukus are cooked well.  Cool them and then store it in an airtight container.  I used an electric cookie press, murukkus turned out pretty good and were easy to make.
