Methi Dal 1

Ingredients
1 cup cooked yellow moong dal(not too thick)
1/2 cup chopped methi/fenugreek leaves
5 thai green chillies chopped finely
1/4 cup tamarind extract
3/4 cup chopped onions
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp mustard and cumin seeds
1/2 - 1 tbsp Oil
Salt to taste

Method
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard and curry leaves.When mustard seeds pop,add onions,salt,turmeric and cook till onions are well cooked.Add methi leaves stir cook for a few minutes add tamarind extract and cook for a few mins then add cooked dal and cook for 3-4 mins.Enjoy hot with rice and a dollop of ghee or with hot pulkas.
