Sandwich Toast

Pin It Now!

I can't even remember how old this sanwich maker is.My mom used it for ages and now I use it quite often. This sandwich maker brings back a lot of childhood memories. It was so much fun seeing and helping my mom flip the maker on both sides and to open and see how much the bread got roasted.Even today I love using this sandwich maker so much.

I used a wholegrain nut bread for this,On a slice of bread I added one cheese slice added chopped mushrooms some wing sauce spread it nicely, added store bought meatless patty added some more wing sauce, another slice of cheese and topped it with a slice of bread.Put it in the sandwich maker adding a little oil to the inserts, close the lid and cook on both sides till nicely browned.Enjoy with a nice drink.

Pushpa, you will not believe this-But one look at the first picture of the sandwich and I knew which sandwich maker this was.We used the same sandwich maker in my mom's house for the longest time. The sandwiches tasted the best the, this one does use oil though, unlike the ones which are available now. This brought back so many memories for me as well :) I can bet on this sandwich's awesome taste :) You are so lucky you still have this,i wonder what happened to ours :(
