Drumstick Leaves Stir Fry

I had some more of these lovely leaves left so I made some quick stir fry out of it.Heat some oil in a pan add some mustard and cumin seeds when they splutter add few crushed red chillies,chopped garlic,roughly chopped drumstick leaves and salt.Stir cook for a few minutes when the leaves are cooked  add coarsely powdered roasted peanuts and stir to blend well.Enjoy with some hot rice.

This looks very healthy. Guess the addition of peanuts gives crunchy taste. Like both dal and stir fry.

I have been wanting to try this out... it is very healthy...we do use the flowers of this tree to make a raita. (Sindhi dish)

Thanks Pushpa for the welcome:)This dish is completely new to me and honestly I was not even aware of the drumstick leaves,so thanks so much for introducing me to a new vegetable.I have made a note of this recipe and will be on the look out for these leaves in the Indian grocery store:)!!!
